Currently the setting for notifying tenants of when showings has been cancelled is only when the showing is cancelled the same day the appointment is for. However, it would be much more customer friendly if it sent them an email when the showings is within the next 24 hours.
We had a situation where a tenant had 3 showings scheduled for the next 3 days. He got an email yesterday at 8am listing them out. However we rented it yesterday afternoon and so we cancelled the showings. Then this morning he didn’t receive any email since there were 0 showings, but it was not as obvious as it should have been that there were no more showings scheduled. He then called at the time of the showing wondering where we were. It would be much more customer friendly if they received an email specifically stating a showing was cancelled if the appointment is in the next 24 hours. Otherwise if it is beyond 24 hours, it just was disappear from their list.
