Would like a context aware date restriction on Showings that will disallow showing requests that fall outside the assigned timing window (availability date) for each particular property. Similar to the new beta that will block a Showing if “Pets = Yes” on a No Pets property.
For example, in our market in Austin, we’ll hold a vacant home no more than 10 days from date of application. So if there was a way to flag properties with an “availability date” such as “Now” (currently vacant – would always use today’s date) or in the future (April 1), then collect the earliest/latest move dates from showing requests, and compute whether the timeline windows overlap, we could, for example, block people from scheduling showings on a currently vacant home when their move date is not for another 6 weeks. Or, conversly, block people who need to move within two weeks from booking a showing on a home that isn’t available until 4 weeks from now.
